Lana S. Miller

Lana Sue Miller, age 76, of Norwalk, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Gaymont Nursing Center.

She was born March 7, 1942 in Bellevue to the late Donald and Marjorie (Wetzel) Dick. She spent her entire childhood in Bellevue and graduated in 1960 from Bellevue High School. She lived her adult life in Castalia, New London and Norwalk. Lana enjoyed flower gardening, and also had a passion for sketching and watercolor painting. She entered many of her creations in local contests and was awarded many ribbons.

Lana worked as head cashier at Tractor Supply Company in Norwalk, retiring in 2011, after 24 years of employment with them. She was a resident of Gaymont since September of 2015 and participated in many of the activities. Lana enjoyed walking, and if anyone saw her walking they never forgot to say “hello”.

She is survived by her son, Christopher E. Miller of Norwalk; older brother, Donald Dick Jr. of Vietnam; and a younger brother, Keith Dick of Texas.

There will be no visitation and private interment will be held at Bellevue Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.
