Darlene Barnett

Darlene (Mullins) Barnett, age 70, of Norwalk, passed away Friday, May 27, 2022, at Gaymont Nursing Center.
She was born May 5, 1952, in McDowell, KY to the late Daniel and Annie (Caudill) Mullins. She retired from New Horizons Bakery in Norwalk after 25 years of service. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and attending family reunions. She enjoyed crocheting and making all of her grandchildren blankets and listening to gospel music.
She is survived by her children, Phyllis (Fred) Garcia of North Fairfield and Debra (Terry) Griffith of Norwalk; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; siblings, Larry (Vicki) Mullins of Fostoria, Teddy (Brenda) Mullins of Drift, KY, Linda Sue (Sandy) Henson of Morehead, KY, Lawrence Mullins of Printer, KY and Martha (Randy) Humble of Printer, KY; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Roger Barnett in 2014; son, Billy Prelipp; and siblings, Rita, Willie, Henry, Gary, and Thomas Ray.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, June 1, 2022, from 3:00 – 6:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. Private interment will be held at Hester Cemetery.
