Charles E. DeWeese

Charles Edward DeWeese, age 73, of Norwalk, passed away Tuesday evening, October 7, 2025, at Fisher-Titus Medical Center.
He was born April 29, 1952, in Pineville, West Virginia to the late Charles B. and Annmay (Withrow) DeWeese. He enjoyed his travels to Sophie, WV to visit his cousin, Joyce and family. He was an apartment manager for many years at Concord Court in Norwalk. He was a character and would give his shirt off of his back to anyone and was known to get along with anyone he met.
He is survived by his girlfriend, Patty Gumbert; his friends, Veronica West, Loretta Harp, Gerald Swigert, Rob King, Kevin and Jeff Ferguson; and his stepson, Dale (Heather) Auxier; granddaughter, Jessie (Chaz) Pumphrey; great-grandson, Waylon (Emma)
He was preceded in death by his wife of 28 years, Donna Jean in 2016.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from Tuesday, October 14, 2025, from 11:00 A.M. until 12:00 noon at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, 9560 Acme Road, Seville, OH.
