Kenneth H. Moltz

Kenneth H Moltz, age 74, of Norwalk, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at the Cleveland Clinic.
He was born July 25, 1951, in Castalia, OH to the late Carl B. and Dorothy (Weyer) Moltz.
He retired after 40 years with JBT in Sandusky and was an active member with the Norwalk American Legion Post 41, VFW Post 2743, Eagles Aerie 711, and the Sandusky Amvets Post 17. He enjoyed camping, trips to Kelley’s Island and Florida, and spending time with his family and especially his grandson, Ryker. He enjoyed bird watching, landscaping, collecting antique toys, fishing, crafts and his 1960 Ford Fairlane.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sally (Weilnau) Moltz, to whom he married on July 18, 1981; daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Chad Hartzel; and their son, Ryker all of Newport, Michigan; and sister, Kathleen Moltz Powers of Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a son, Heath Lee Moltz; and brother, David Moltz; and a brother-in-law, Michael Powers.
A celebration of Kenny’s life will be held at a later date.
Arrangements entrusted to the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.
