Marlene Draper

Marlene Francis (Linder) Draper, 94, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2026.

Born on July 22, 1931, Marlene lived a life centered on faith, family, kindness, and service to others.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ervin and Mattie (VerBurg) Linder; her brother, Ervin Linder Jr.; and her sisters, Ilah Bittner, Nora Page, and Evelyn Gillian. Marlene was a lifelong member of St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, where she faithfully served as an usher and was an active member of the Christian Women's Service organization. 

She graduated from Norwalk High School in 1950 and later retired from Kaiser Wells Pharmacy in 2001 after many years of dedicated service. Marlene enjoyed bowling and was an avid Ohio sports fan. Those who knew her will remember her as incredibly kind. She especially treasured her family and found great joy in supporting her grandchildren and great-grandchildren in everything they pursued—whether it was sports, 4-H, school activities, or any other endeavor. 

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Bibb; her sister, Carol Money; and her grandchildren: Robert (Shelly) Bibb, Adrianna Anderson and Joseph (Michelle) Bibb.

Marlene is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Jude, Kendra, Hope, and Keegan Bibb, and Aaliyah and Jayden Anderson, along with numerous nieces and nephews and two great-great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during calling hours on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m., followed by a luncheon at 12:00 p.m.
