Whether you choose traditional burial or cremation as the method of final disposition, we can make your service truly personal. You can also be well assured, that whatever you choose, burial or cremation, the casket, urn and/or other memorial items you choose are of the highest quality available in that price range. We stand ready to assist you in any way possible. You can take comfort in knowing that we have a licensed funeral director available to assist 24 hours per day.

Federal Trade Commission (FTC Rule): The goods and services shown are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the goods and services you selected.


Payment Options
We accept cash, check, and most major credit cards. Payment in full is expected at the time of arrangements and must be secured before our services are provided. We also will accept a verified assignment of a non-contestable life insurance policy or a credit card; however, a fee of 2% of the total contract will be added. We can also accept the transfer of a pre-paid funeral pre-arrangement made with another funeral provider


Basic Services of the Funeral Director and Staff      $1,625.00
The charge for the basic services of the funeral director and staff includes, but is not limited to, staff to respond to initial request for service seven days a week, any hour, arrangement conference with family or responsible party face to face or on-line, preparation and filing of necessary certificates and permits, planning of funeral arrangements and coordination of services with cemetery, crematory scheduling, vault companies, florist, newspaper, clergy, military and others as required. Also included in this charge are overhead expenses relative to our facility such as insurance, maintenance and utility expenses, professional licenses, property taxes, accounting, secretarial and administrative costs, equipment and inventory expenses. This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charge for direct cremations, immediate burials, and forwarding or receiving remains).
Limited graveside Service with funeral director and staff when requested. $195.00

Preparation
Embalming $535.00
Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial. *It is the policy of this funeral home to require embalming when funerals are selected which include a public viewing or with an open casket.

Other Preparation of the Body $170.00
This fee includes the washing, disinfecting, dressing, cosmetizing and handling of the body. This fee may be waived if family chooses to complete this task or home funerals.

Necessary Care of Autopsy and Organ and Tissue Donors $288.00
This fee is usually charged in addition to the embalming fee when public visitation is requested This will include up to 5 hours of additional reconstruction & supplies.

Facilities, Services, Equipment & Staff for a Funeral Ceremony $425.00
This charge is for the facilities, staff, chairs & equipment used during the ceremony or a funeral conducted from our funeral home or other facility Monday through Friday. This charge includes a maximum of 90 minutes of visitation before the funeral service. Parking lot attendants, setup, cleaning, flower arranging, sound system and supervision.

- An additional fee of $125.00 will be charged for funerals conducted on a Saturday.

Facilities, Services & Staff for a One Night Visitation or Gathering $525.00
This charge is for the facilities, parking lot, receiving flowers, staff & equipment for a public visitation of 2 - 5 hours for public between 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. at funeral home.

Immediate Burials $2,455.00 - $3,250.00
The charge for immediate burial includes the transfer of the deceased to our funeral home within a 20-mile radius, temporary shelter of the remains (no embalming), limited services of the funeral director and staff, necessary authorizations and service transfer to the cemetery. Delivery of the remains to the cemetery is scheduled at the convenience of the funeral home. This charge does not include the use of facilities for any visitation, viewing, rites or ceremonies, public or private, prior to burial.
Immediate Burial with Minimum Casket                             $3,250.00
Immediate Burial with Alternative Container                     $2,650.00
Immediate Burial with Container Provided by Purchaser $2,455.00


Forwarding Remains to another Funeral Home                $2,075.00
The charge for forwarding remains includes the transfer of the deceased to our funeral home within a 20-mile radius, basic services of the funeral director and staff, embalming and other preparation of the body, necessary permits and authorizations, minimum shipping container and service transfer to a local airport, but not shipping charges.

Receiving Remains from another Funeral Home $1,625.00
This charge includes the transfer of the deceased to our funeral home within a 70-mile radius, Cleveland or Toledo Airport, temporary shelter of remains, basic services of the funeral director and staff, necessary permits and authorizations and service transfer to the cemetery or crematory.

Miscellaneous Services
Our funeral home is not responsible in the event that any item that is purchased from another company or person becomes damaged or breaks.
Filling Urns Purchased from Another Party $35 each
Filling Cremation Jewelry Purchased from Another Party $10 per piece

 

 

Cremation Options Ranges from $5,125.00 to $1,945.00
The charge for direct cremation includes temporary sheltering of remains, limited services of the funeral director and staff, securing vital statistics for death certificate, veteran or social security notification. This charge includes 15-minute private ID viewing with immediate family only prior to cremation, but not the use of facilities and staff for any public visitation or ceremonies. If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can choose an alternative container. Includes holding and refrigeration of the remains up to 72 hours. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like cardboard, fiberboard or wood.

Automotive Equipment
Transfer of Deceased to Our Funeral Home                                               $210.00
This fee is for the transfer of the deceased day or night, to our funeral home or crematory: from place of death at a residence, nursing home, hospital or when called upon by the Huron or Erie County Coroner at the scene. It is based upon a 20-mile radius. Additional mileage will be charged at a rate of $3.00 per mile one way (includes additional gas and driver).
Hearse - Traditional Cadillac White Hearse                                                $295.00
Within a 20-mile radius. Mileage charged at a rate of $3.00 per mile one way beyond 20 miles.
Dodge Van Hearse - in lieu of Traditional Cadillac Hearse                      $95.00
Within a 20-mile radius. Mileage charged at a rate of $3.00 per mile one way beyond 20 miles.
Utility Vehicles or extra Flower Car (if required)                                       $30.00
Within a 20-mile radius. Additional mileage will be charged at a rate of $3.00 per mile one way.
Service Transfer                                                                                          $110.00


This fee is for additional transfers of the deceased. Examples may include the transfer to or from an airport, Cuyahoga and Lucas County Coroner Office. These transfers are made with a utility vehicle and not always a hearse. This charge is based upon a 65-mile radius.
