Barbara Might

Barbara (Bleile) Might, age 60, of Newark, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2020.

She was born January 24, 1960 in Norwalk to the late Donald and Patricia (Perkins) Bleile. She was a 1978 graduate of St. Paul High School and later Firelands School of Nursing. She specialized in long term care and was a dedicated and compassionate nurse. Barb devoted herself to her grandchildren and loved those around her fully and selflessly. She was a gifted quilter and artist who saw beauty everywhere.

She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Doug Might of Newark; daughter; Miranda (Matt) Nelson of New Albany OH; son, Alex Might of Brooklyn NY; grandchildren, Elliana, Grant, Pierce, and Reid Nelson. She is also survived by her sister, Sheryl Bissett of Cape Coral FL; brothers, Denis (Anne) Bleile and Eric (Margie) Bleile, both of Norwalk.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers; Douglas and Rusty Bleile.

A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, February 21, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church, 91 E. Main Street Norwalk, OH. Interment will follow at St. Paul cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
