David Sherrard

David Sherrard, age 81, of Norwalk, passed away Monday, January 16, 2023.
He was born February 9, 1941 in Berkley Springs, WV to the late John and Lillian (Catlett) Sherrard. He retired after many years with MA Hannah. He was a member of the Norwalk Eagles Aerie 711 and enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Sharon (Felter) Sherrard; daughter, Tracey (Joel) Trainer; grandchildren, Melissa, Tanya, Tiffany, Derek, Ethan, Kalynn and Logan; and many great-grandchildren; siblings, Wayne (Sue) Sherrard, Brenda (Cliff) Cobb and Cindy (Bud) Stotler; nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his children, David Sherrard and Dawn Showalter; siblings, John Sherrard, Genevieve Ambrose, Warner Sherrard, Frances Christy, Paul Sherrard, Reva Jane Molarry, Phyllis Jean Wertenberger, Vernon Sherrard and Donal Sherrard.
A celebration of life service will be held Thursday, January 19, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. at the Norwalk VFW Post 2743.
Arrangements entrusted to the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.
