Steven A. Killian

Steven Allen Killian, age 62, of Port Charlotte, FL and formerly Norwalk, passed away Saturday, December 23, 2023, in Florida.

He was born January 26, 1961, in Sandusky to Joan (Nickoli) (Killian) Holzmiller and Terry Killian. He was a 1979 graduate of St. Paul High School. He was a self-employed carpenter and built many homes. He enjoyed boating, fishing, cooking, and spending time with grandsons, Meelan and Caleb, and attending their sporting events.

He is survived by his mother, Joan M. Holzmiller of Norwalk; stepfather, Ralph Holzmiller; daughters, Erica Kitts of TX and her son, Caleb Radford and Crystal Gonzalez of FL and her son, Meelan Gonzalez; sister, Tammy Scheid; nieces, Ashley (Luke) Scheid; nephew, Kyle (Cierra) Scheid; great nieces, Peyton Holtz and Salem Holtz; aunt, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Terry Killian in 1983; infant brother, Randal in 1965; grandparents, Lawrence and Gladys Nickoli and Elbert and Evelyn Killian.

A service will be held Monday, January 15, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk with Father Ron Schock officiating.

A luncheon will follow at St. Anthony’s social hall in Milan. Private interment will be at Riverside Cemetery in Monroeville.
