James "Jim" P. Davis

James “Jim” P Davis, age 62, of Monroeville, passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at his residence.

He was born October 21, 1961, in Lorain, Ohio to the late Jack B. and Mary Lou (Kiger) Davis. Jim loved working with his hands. He built homes with his dad for decades and truly enjoyed woodworking. He was also a member of DADS in Sandusky.

He is survived by his wife, Michelle L. Dagg-Davis; daughter, Jennifer (Jeff) Shull of New York; sisters, Linda (and the late Jimmy) Johnson, and Kathy (Barry) Moore; granddaughter, Kennedy Shull; and numerous nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Samuel B. Davis; and his brother-in-law, Jimmy Johnson.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at a later date.

Arrangements entrusted to the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.

Memorial contributions may be sent to Jim’s immediate family in care of the funeral home.
