Bonnie T (Nickles) Boyd, age 71, of Norwalk, passed peacefully in her sleep, Sunday, January 7, 2024, at her residence.
She was born October 19, 1952, in Sandusky to the late George Walter and Helen Marie (Schippel) Nickles, Jr. Bonnie was a devout Catholic. She retired from GE. She was a big Cleveland sports fan. She loved her son, her grandchildren, and her Pomeranian dogs, Lil Smokie and Teddy Bear.
She is survived by her son, Benjie (Andrea) Boyd of Mentor; sisters, Nancy (Don) Jordan, Georgetta (Steve) Meyer, Darlene Nickles, Sue (Ron) Griffin, Annette Klein, JoAnn Fox, Tina (Jim) Jacobs, and Tammy Nickles; brothers, Terry Nickles, and Tracy Nickles; grandchildren, Kaitlin Boyd, and Brianna Boyd; many nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Keith Boyd; brothers, Ronnie Nickles, Jeff Nickles, Jerry Nickles, Ed Nickles, and Lloyd Nickles.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held Thursday, February 29, 2024, from 11:00 – 12:00 noon at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk, followed by a 1:00 P.M. graveside service at Castalia Cemetery.
