Geneva A (Wright) Peyton, age 74, of North Fairfield, passed away Monday, April 15, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her loving family, children, and grandchildren. She fought a courageous battle with a difficult illness and lived life to the fullest.
She was born on September 19, 1949, at home in Kentucky to Naomi and Elijah wright.
She is survived by her children, Larry E. (Stacy) Peyton Jr. of New London, Michelle (David) Spence of Shelbyville, KY, and Melinda Carrero of Lorain; grandchildren, Abigail Peyton, Elizabeth Fulton (Samuel Fulton Jr), Kimberly Patience Zelenok, Michael Criss Jr., Melissa Blakeman, Alexander Carrero and Elexa Carrero; great-grandchildren, Michael Criss III, Oliver Criss, Jessa Lynn Blakeman, Peyton Blakeman and George Blakeman.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Larry E. Peyton Sr. in 2022.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at 12:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. Burial will follow at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, 44805 N Ridge Road, Amherst, OH.
