Maxamillian N. Holtz Sr.

Maxamillian N Holtz Sr, age 79, of Norwalk, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at home.

He was born April 18, 1946, in Mount Savage, MD to the late John T Holtz Sr. and Jean A. (Brennan) Holtz. He retired with more than 30 years of service at Ford Motor in Lorain, OH. He was a classic car enthusiast and enjoyed going to swap meets and car shows, as well as having a few classics of his own. Most of all he loved time with his pride and joy, his grandchildren.  He was loved by so many people, knew everyone and everyone was a friend.

He is survived by his children, Max (Cindy) Holtz, Melinda (Gabriel) Holzmiller and Zachary Holtz; siblings, Dan (Kathy) Holtz, Marlene (Doug) Duffield and Deborah (Thomas) Ranney; a brother-in-law, Fred Smith; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, John T. Holtz Jr.; and his sister, Nena Smith.

Friends may call Sunday, October 26, 2025, from 3:00 – 5:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. A private graveside service will be held Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. at Our Lady of the Mountains Cemetery in Mt Savage, Maryland.
