Ruth M. Morrow

Ruth Marie (Burdue) Morrow, age 85, of Milan, passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at her residence   

 

She was born July 6, 1940, in Norwalk to the late Guy and Hellen (Holmes) Burdue. Ruthie as she was known by enjoyed crafting and cross stitching. Her family was a big part of her life with 11 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters, Alice Gibson of NC, Vicky Canterbury of Norwalk, Dawn Morrow of CA; sons, Charles “Chuck” Morrow of Norwalk and Chris Morrow of NC; sister, Mary Knapp of Rochester, OH.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Aaron “Gene” Eugene Morrow in 2024; son, Jerry Morrow; grandson, Jeremy “Jay” Morrow; and great-grandson, Cody Hardy; and daughter, Laura Norwood; son-in-law, Mike Gibson; brothers, Charles and Ralph Burdue; and sister, Maretta Niciu; and in-laws, Lora and Leonard Wilbur.

At Ruth’s request there will be no viewing or services. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date at Meadow Green Memorial Park.

Arrangements entrusted to the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.
