Almeda Jean Trippe

Almeda “Jean” Trippe, age 74, of Norwalk, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2026, at Fisher-Titus Medical Center.
She was born February 10, 1952, in Canton, OH to the late Donald D. and Doris G. (Shafer) Weary.
She is survived by her husband, Dr. Glenn Trippe of Norwalk; son, Nowyll Trippe; and her granddaughter, Aeriala Trippe; and brother, Brian A. Weary of Doylestown, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald D. and Doris G. (Shafer) Weary.
In life she was a beautiful woman, talented beyond most people's recognition. She was a mother, grandmother, wife, a nurse, and an office manager, and for a time headed the Red Cross of Ottawa county. She was an artist and a designer. She played piano, flute and other instruments. There was always a twinkle in her eye and a smile on her face. If you spoke to her, you would instantly be her friend. She would talk to everyone. She was so much to so many and everyone who met her loved her.
She was her husband's love, best friend and partner in life. She loved her family dearly, especially her granddaughter. Her family was everything to her.
Please come help us celebrate her life and say goodbye to this most beautiful and precious soul.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, October 15, 2026, from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. A funeral Mass will be held 10:30 A.M. Friday, October 16, 2026, at St. Paul Catholic Church, 91 E. Main Street, Norwalk with Fr. Anthony Recker officiating. Interment will follow at St. Paul Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in her name may be sent to Fisher Titus Cornerstone Endowment, St. Paul Catholic Church or the Northern Ohio Youth Orchestras.
