Jennifer Evans

Raised in Norwalk, Jennifer graduated from Norwalk High School in 1987. Having completed her bachelor in Business Administration with a Marketing emphasis, she went on to receive her Funeral Director's License in 2002 from the State of Ohio Board of Embalmers and Funeral Directors. She served her funeral director apprenticeship with her husband at Evans Funeral Home here in Norwalk.

Jennifer is pleased to be back home and serving the community she loves. She is a member of the Ohio and National Funeral Director's Associations, Shoestring Players Board, Kiwanis Club of Norwalk Board, Project Leadership of Huron County Board and Alumni, Endowment Fund for Norwalk City Schools Board, Norwalk Area Arts Council Treasurer, Finance Council for St. Paul Catholic Church, Norwalk Eagles Auxiliary 711, Norwalk V.F.W. Social Member, and Huron County Ohio Chamber of Commerce Board.

John Evans

Having met Jennifer while attending Mortuary School, John worked as a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer since 1989. He completed his bachelor degree in 1996. He went on to receive his Funeral Director and Embalmer's license in 1997 from the State of Ohio Board of Embalmers and Funeral Directors. After much hard work and dedication to the Norwalk community, John, along with his wife Jennifer, took full ownership of the 1949 facility, now Evans Funeral Home.

John is thrilled to be a part of the Norwalk community. He is a member of the Ohio and National Funeral Director's Association, Treasurer of the Ohio Funeral Director's Association, Huron County Ohio Chamber of Commerce, Pastoral Council for St. Paul Catholic Church, Norwalk Catholic Schools Governing Board, Norwalk Knights of Columbus Council 626, Norwalk Elks Lodge No. 730, Norwalk Moose Lodge No. 1248, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 711, Norwalk V.F.W. Social Member, and City of Norwalk Planning and Zoning Board.
